crocmon asked: I know this isn't Innistrad related, but was putting the Infect mechanic ever deemed a mistake at any point in time? For a while I used to run a UB midrange infect that was just mean, and was repeatedly told that I was a terrible, -terrible- person for playing a deck built around 'that mistake of a mechanic.' So I'm curious to hear it from the source, if it's not too much of a bother.
Infect was very polarizing. The players that liked it really liked it. Those that didn’t, really didn’t. While the haters seem to be louder on the internet, the players that liked it resound much better in all our metrics, so I judge it a success. So much so that I’m very confident it will return one day.
